The widget area to the left of your digital edition can accept html/css/javascript code, but don't worry if you are not skilled in programming because we've got some helper aides that will allow you to get your RSS Feeds, Twitter and/or Facebook widgets added.

First go to the manage titles/issues screen and click on Edit Title:

Navigate to the Widgets>Custom Embed page.  Click the checkbox to "activate the custom embed widget" and the widget code area will appear as well as the 3 different helper tools.

The 3 helpers are as follows:

1. RSS:  RSS feeds can be anything from news tickers, to sports scores, to weather updates. Just copy and paste the RSS feed URL in here to compliment your digital edition.
2. Twitter:  Just enter a twitter account name and you can get live twitter updates directly next to your publication.
3. Facebook:  You can include a feed from a facebook fanpage or public profile by entering the facebook pageID(not profile ID).  Find the page ID by clicking on the profile image set for the account which will bring you to an profile  pictures page.  You'll find the pageID number in the Browser Address bar.  It will look something like this with the number you will copy and paste in the widget helper at the end of the address(IN RED)eg: facebook.com/media/set/?set=pa.1234567890
   
   NOTE: Facebook sometimes changes where they display the page ID.  you may find the number in the last set in a list of numbers in the URL
   
   eg:  http://www.facebook.com/media/set/?set=a.450672058305.243954.40796308305&type=1

Click on Update to save your new widget OR click GO BACK to discard your changes.
