A link (hyperlink) is a pointer to another document or location.  In terms of digital publishing they can be internal (table of contents links, linking from cover page to article) OR external(linking to a website or email)

You can add links to your PDF in adobe acrobat prior to uploading to the system and those links will be maintained post upload, but what if you have already uploaded your edition?

The page editor has a links tool where you can add or update links after you upload.

  • While logged in to your account go to your title.  Beside the mini-cover of an issue there is a "Enhancements" dropdown menu.  Click on the page editor(zones/links/text)

  • Once in the page editor screen, the drop down menus will display your title name, issue name, page number.  You can always change these values to find the page you wish to embed your links on.  By default, the page editor will be in the link interface to start

  • Now you can move, resize and place the link area using your mouse.  This gives you the ability to make the link area a custom size.  Outline some text, a logo, or a full page.   It's up to you!

    • You can also choose to make the link active or inactive with the "link is active" checkbox(6)
    • When you are ready to embed the link just click "add link" (7)
