Sometimes you may need to replace pages of your converted publication.

For example, a current page may have mistakes/typos/conversion problems and you want to reformat your PDF page and update the page in your issue.

Our system allows you to replace up to 30% of your publications pages.  EG if your publication is 100 pages, you can replace up to 30 pages of your publication.  You can replace the same page as many times as you need to as well, and those extra changes are not counted against the 30%

To find the page replacement tool, in your title view, next to the mini-cover thumbnail of your issue you will see the "Enhance" drop down menu.  Click on the "replace a page" link (image 1 below) and you will be taken to the page replace tool.

From there, you just need to (refer to image 2 below):

  1. Select the target page that needs to be replaced in the "Select Page" dropdown menu (you can see page thumbnails which you can expand to confirm you have selected the correct page for replacement), THEN choose your 1 page PDF for replacement by clicking on Choose File.
  2. This part of the interface will you give you a preview of the page you have selected to replace. As well, you are presented with the replacement info section which shows the Total replacements allowed for this issue, Number of pages already replaced, and Number of pages still available to replace.
  3. Choose if you want to have the downloadable PDF (from the flipbook) updated to reflect the new page (default checked) OR if you want the PDF to remain the same and not reflect the new page.

Then just click on "replace" and our system will take over and begin the page replacement.  Your issue will show a status of "Replacing Page" and during that time the issue will not be available for viewing by the public.  The page replace doesn't take long (seconds usually) and once completed, your issue will reflect the new page when you reload your reader.

NOTES:

  • If you choose a multiple page PDF for the replacement, only first page of that PDF will be used for replacement
  • Hovering and clicking on the page numbers in the brackets in the "Number of pages already replaced", will give you a page preview of the page that was replaced.
  • Addition and Subtraction of pages is NOT supported by the system.  The total # of pages cannot change.
  • Insert/Remove pages not supported
